Wilderness Experience®  introduced the Klettersack in 1974 and it quickly became a favorite of many of the top rock climbers and mountaineers of the day including Alan Bard, John Bachar, Fred Beckey, Jim Bridwell, Jim Donini, Ned Gillette, Beverly Johnson, Ron Kauk, John Long, Galen Rowell, John Roskelley, Kim Schmitz and so many others. It was such an iconic design that both the design concept and the name have been copied by many companies over the past 45 years. What they weren’t able to copy was the material and manufacturing quality.

Men's  T-Shirts

In 1973 the first Wilderness Experience®  magazine ad appeared in Summit Magazine, “WILDERNESS EXPERIENCE®  Packs for Mountaineers.”  The following year we put that design on T-Shirts. Now we are reproducing this original advertisement’s artwork on T-Shirts.
